     The English Chain of Paris.

God bless our soldiers and sailors and keep them
in the hollow of thy hand.    "Amen"
This was received by me on the 2nd day of
April .   It has been around the world. Copy it
and see what happens on the seventh day. It is
said all who write it will be taken care of, and
them that pass it up will meet with some
misfortune, and on the seventh day those who
write it will meet with some great joy.
Start the day you received this and mail
one each day for seven days.
Please do not break this chain. It is said
that it was written on the field of Flanders.
   Copy and sign your name.

                                  R. S. Warner.
