Luck chain letter.  Ancient Prayer. "The cradle chain of Flanders."  Seven copies. US, 1920.
                                            June 30, 1920.

Dear Claudia:

The cradle chain of Flanders.  God keep our Soldiers
and Sailors and keep them in the hollow of thy hands.

This was received on the 28th of June, and it has been
all over the world.

Copy this and see what happens.  It is said that those
who write it will be taken care of, and those who pass it by
will meet with misfortune.

Send it to seven people and on the seventh day you will
receive great joy.  Start it on the day you receive it and send
one every day for seven days.

Please do not break the chain as it started on Flanders field.

Copy this and sign your name in full.
