Advocacy chain letter.  Greenham Peace Camps - recruitment.  England,  1986.

                                     February 1986

Dear Pam

The situation at Greenham is urgent and desperate.  Where there

used to be eight or nine flourishing Peace Camps, there are now

only six with a small handful of tired and depressed women at

each.

After the cold and wet summer and frequent evictions they

desperately need support now.  They do not need gifts of food but

more women to go and stay there, otherwise in a matter of weeks

the peace camps may be no more.  Greenham Women 's Peace Camps

have been a beacon of light in the dark to millions all over the

world.  Don't let that light go out.  Please, get this letter

copied and sent to five or ten more women.

                                  Yours sincerely,

                                                           Marion [?]
